Full-Time Recruitment and Intake Specialist

Job Description

An opening has become available for a Recruitment and Intake Specialist who will be responsible for recruitment efforts to advertise, attract, and engage clients.  Work hour are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and implement appropriate promotional and recruitment plans that will effectively increase job seeker enrollment
  • Maintain visibility within the community through events, meetings, and recruitment initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all potential clients
  • Screen, interview, complete intake process, and verify applicants’ eligibility requirements for the corresponding program
  • Assist clients for a smooth transition into programs and connect them with a dedicated care team
  • Maintain relationship with contract partners to support and monitor referrals
  • Collect, update, and maintain recruiting and intake data
  • Apply evaluations, tests, or any general assessment to program applicants
  • Call or mail letters to potential job seekers
  • Actively work towards accomplishing and meeting goals
  • Perform other duties as required 


  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a minimum 2 years relevant exposure to or experience with clients experience challenges in finding employment
  • Must have English and Spanish oral and written skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Software, Internet, databases, and virtual learning platforms
  • Must have the ability to travel to other facilities or meetings; own reliable transportation with a valid drivers’ license is required
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively and efficiently
  • Must be an attentive listener, people-oriented, sensitive to the cultural diversity of the population served and have a respect for divergent viewpoints
  • Must be flexible to work outside normal business hours for job seeker needs, and to attend training and meetings
  • Must maintain confidentiality and respect for all individuals 

Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.

$13.50 to $15/hr, based on experience
