Full-Time Receptionist – Administrative Support

Job Description

A manufacturing company has an opportunity available for a Receptionist – Administrative Support to join their team.  You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet all visitors, customers, vendors, employees, applicants, etc.
  • Operate and maintain switchboard
  • Give out and collect application forms and maintain EEOC log
  • Maintain Sales and Human Resource files
  • Prepare, weigh, and apply postage to outgoing mail and sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Maintain office supply room and coffee station supplies
  • Type, fax, and email correspondence
  • Type customer literature letters and assemble packets
  • Update phone list, lobby directory, bulletin boards, annual holiday, and monthly headcount report
  • Maintain monthly HR/Safety events calendar and make reservations for Lake County Safety Council meetings
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and other duties as assigned 

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have 1 to 3 years’ experience in a business environment or in dealing with the public
  • Must have excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office, Outlook and PDFs
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, professional, and courteous
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be positive, upbeat, and approachable
