Temporary HR Assistant – Short-term

Job Description

A government agency is seeking a HR Assistant to help with the day-to-day HR issues that may arise. This is a 2 to 3 month project and work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• You will change address or dependent information for employees
• Assist with benefit or deduction changes
• Hand out new tax form
• Assist with orientation and new hire and direct deposit paperwork
• File, make copies, and fill out FMLA paperwork
• Assist with other duties as needed

Qualifications:
• Must have previous HR experience
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work alone on a broad variety of projects is required
• Must be computer literate with accurate data entry skills
• Must maintain confidentiality at all times and demonstrate ethical conduct

Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.

Pay commensurate with experience
