Temp-Permanent Finance Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Manager to fill an immediate opportunity.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create/maintain employee master files for Paychex and Pay clock
  • Update, calculate, and maintain employee time off, benefits, commissions, raises, and bonus spreadsheets
  • Process semi-monthly payrolls
  • Complete bank borrowing base reports, and reconcile all bank statements
  • Update and maintain checkbook registers and positive pay balances on a daily basis for all accounts
  • Take payable calls, update, and maintain supplier database
  • Process monthly general journal entries and review and balance Aging
  • Enter and pay accounts payable invoices, use QuickBooks, month end journal entries, and monthly financial statements
  • Print and review sales tax journals and CAT tax sales reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Degree and experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Must have a thorough understanding of Paychex, Pay clock, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks
  • Must have the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters
