Full-Time Administrative – Sales Assistant

Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking an Administrative – Sales Assistant to perform customer service of existing accounts, as well as assisting the office manager, accounting department, and production team with various office tasks.  This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, receive customer orders, and answer questions
  • Review and process orders based on requests
  • Review production schedule to be able to follow orders thru system to ensure timely delivery of product
  • Purchase material and products, estimate job, and compare costs
  • Resolve any customer complaints promptly
  • Daily ERP data entry, analyze data for discrepancies, and run daily reports
  • Create and modify documents, file paperwork, and provide general office support to all company personnel 

Qualifications:

  • Administrative, customer service, accounting, and sales experience is required
  • Foundry or manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Must have strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Must have excellent customer interaction, be able to pay attention to detail, manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and perform work promptly
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office with accurate data entry skills
  • Must be willing to learn and understand the basics of our manufacturing processes
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, dependable, and people oriented
